A+
Have we already mentioned that you guys deserve to change your name to the "A+ team"? I enjoyed your video: good narration, good choice of images, appropriate but not overpowering music, & really good ending! I think the shots of clear sky etc. work well to convey a sense of promise & possibility for clean energy sources. And your high-quality pdf was like a bonus. Your calculations were the best developed & explained of all the teams. You are obviously coalescing as a team & your work reflects this.

Wow! I loved the public
Wow! I loved the public service announcement. Good editing, what did you do it in? I wish there was more opportunity for longer videos in this challenge, they're lots of fun to do and to make.

Great video
The video was well-done, nicely narrated and beautifully edit. Oh, and I liked the the shot of the BC Hydro building ;) Perhaps there was even a subliminal message in the "yes we can" line from another great video.
Good thinking in the presentation and the reference to reservoirs as a way to "store" energy.

Superb!
The video was great - beautiful images and very professional feel. The science content was good here and in the report. I loved the look of your "annual report", and the quality of your research was impressive. I think you made some very good choices and supported them well. My only concern about your tables was reliability of supply: rivers on Vancouver Island can run dry in the summer, and the winds don't always blow. Run-of-river doesn't usually have reservoirs for storage like a large scale hydro system. It was very helpful to see how you calculated your numbers (do you have the tables for 2025 and 2015 reversed?) You did an excellent job explaining why you didn't choose some of the options, and gave careful consideration to the harm from the carbon emissions of each possibility.

Love your narration!
I love your narration and use of tonality. The use of tonality grabs our attention and lures us into hearing what you have to say next. I can feel the energy in your narration and it's a great way to connect audience and your work. It's a great video. Watching it makes me want to jump right into summer and go biking along the seawall.
For the introduction of water energy source, I didn't like the use of footage. It just didn't seem compatible with the rest of the video but it was fine after the scene switched to the lake footage.

Please...
Please give the video some time to load and buffer before playing it all the way through. On my computer at least, there is no indication of how much of the video has buffered. If the video starts and stops, please let it finish loading.
We decided to be a little more abstract and artistic with this submission by using a lot shots of the sky and treetops to give a sense of endless possibility and encourage a greater appreciation for the beauty and grandeur of Nature. We also couldn't help including the footage of the crow "nodding" and agreeing with us! ;)
