Lady deserves respect.
I love the "Mystery Science Theater 3000" approach with the audience silhouettes in front. And you showed a lot of creativity in the animations. I honestly didn't know what to expect next, which is one of the best ways to keep the viewer completely engaged and interested.
You've also put together a very rich and interesting audio canvass for this, with cute and appropriate sound effects sprinkled in here-and-there. The cheesy laugh-track was priceless, and used just often enough to make it work (but not get repetitive or irritating).
I will say that the visual layout was a little drab, though. I was never able to forget that I was looking at a PPT file. But the photos were suitable, and the closing sketch sequence was very cool (you somehow found a way to make crayon art look classy).
This made me happy I woke up today... but it made me sad that only one of you have ever been in love before.
Oh, and my props to the narrator for such excellent pronnounciation of the word "scrotum."

Here here!
I definitely agree with SBocksa! What a creative take on PowerPoint presentations!
I'm not sure what "Mystery Science Theater 3000" is, but am I right when I say this was supposed to imitate a college/university lecture - hence the opening Botony 310 slide, sleepy student, and untimely cell phone interruption?
Oh, and I found it interesting how all of you are females but your presentation mainly features males making somewhat slightly misogynistic comments in a course focusing on flowers and other plants. :) I don't know if there was any deeper meaning to this (accidental or not), but I thoroughly enjoyed it!
I also liked your crayon drawing in the end too! I miss crayons and elementary school!

The show is fabulous, just like this presentation. I'm glad you guys had enough...lady slippers...to push the humor as much as you did. It was very fun to watch.

Yes, you're right. The aim
Yes, you're right. The aim was to mimic a lecture so keeping the slides looking like traditional Power Point slides was done on purpose.
Glad you enjoyed it!

MST3K: yes!!!
A-team, your presentation got my highest points yet for entertainment value! I remember watching Mystery Science Theatre about a decade ago & your takeoff is perfect. Your title is just plain cute (in a good way). The use of simple sillouettes & strong narration makes for a powerful presentation.
The negatives? Not much. Your audio quality was a bit uneven & the narrative voice was not crisp 100% of the time (I know, I'm sounding picky!). I would have liked a bit more time to read what's on the slides. I would also have liked to see a stronger ending: your classroom seems to vanish & the presentation sort of peters out at the end.
On the whole, though: very well done.

Spiffy lookin'
Spiffy lookin' powerpoint! I'm assuming the four down in front aren't supposed to be you? =p
Have you ever seen any Lady Slipper in the wild? It doesn't look too familiar to me, but then, I can see that poor little Vancouver Island is coloured black on your map there =(. It's strange to think of an orchid growing in the wild in cold, wet BC.
