A rocket ride.
There's no doubt this presentation was well-researched and considered carefully. Lots of good pictures to illustrate points throughout, too. And considering the format chosen/equipment available, the the quality of the audio was surprisingly not terrible.
The issues I have all stem from the editing of the content. When you've only got 3 minutes, the temptation is to cram cram cram everything including the kitchen sink. But this has to be avoided, or else it creates all kinds of technical problems like rushed delivery and music-video-like cuts tearing through the content (which CAN work in certain circumstances -- like music videos).
I'd say there's an opportunity to cut about 35%-40% of the content here. Don't be afraid to leave some of your hard-earned research on the cutting room floor.
When I'm working on constrained productions, it's not uncommon for half of the good ideas/effort to not make it into the final product.

I enjoyed the approach on
I enjoyed the approach on this. It had a broader cultural focus which I found refreshing, and better than looking at straight up plant diagrams.
It was a little jam packed. My writing profs always tell me 'Kill your darlings'. Take comfort that hacking and slashing text will, eventual, make your script stronger and give more focus. This would have sparkled with a bit more polish! :D

Although I did find it too
Although I did find it too long, it is clear you put a lot of time and work into this. Bravo.

dense but effective
Whew! This presentation leaves me a bit out of breath. Global Voice, you've already heard it from others so I won't belabour the point that you tried to cram a LOT of material into a short presentation that ended up being just over the 3 minute max. But your pictures were well chosen & they illustrated your narrative well. Your narration is not bad but it was rushed (the listener can almost SEE you watching the clock as you try to get everything read in time) & so articulation, clarity suffer a bit. Another significant plus: your approach (told from the perspective of an aboriginal person recalling use of Devil's club as a child in First Nations community) was unique and artistic, consistently maintained throughout. I appreciated the little factoid about re-routing the CPR route because of Devil's Club!

Storytelling
I enjoyed your storytelling approach and your image selection. Unfortunately, the video kept freezing up on me at about mid-point. As others have noted, that's about the right length for a presentation.

Had to update my poor little
Had to update my poor little computer for your presentation =p.
Some nice images there, I like how you connect the plant to your culture and your experiences. Makes it just that bit more accessible.
