Horizontal Lightning?
Fooling around with my new camera, I was snapping quick pictures of everything, people, objects, lights... everything.
That was what I was doing while driving over a bridge one time. The result was this picture.
Bearing a certain degree of resemblance to a lightning bolt, it also contains a huge difference, it is horizontal.
Many say mysteries stem from darkness, since our eyes cannot see without light.
While light can correctly portray the world by reflecting off objects and be captured by our eyes,
light itself can also play tricks with them.
Cameras, inspired by the structure of the eye, functions as a light capturers as well.
This picture came straight from my camera, perhaps light was playing tricks on it too?
Or is this really a picture of horizontal lightning? Is that even possible?
Can you find out what it is, Detective Gumshoe?

Looks a little sparse for city lights--my guess'd be boats on t'water.
Lighting effects are neat.

Horizontal lighting
Is the city lights (street lights etc.) blurred horizontally because you are in motion?

Static in motion
Opposites? Static - stationary and electrical; Motion - fluid and moving. Does a moving camera create a static (charged) image?
Something to ponder about - thanks for the intriguing shot.

An Abstract Mystery!
When I first saw this image, I was thinking it was something electrical in nature. But when I took a closer view at the light, I began to think there was something 'wavelike' in the curve of the light beams. Then I saw the orange and I thought 'sunset'. That's when the 'light' went off and I realized this was probably some sort of ocean shot.
This was one of the photos that kept me guessing for quite a while.

Neat picture!
Horizontal Lightening is possible- it's usually in a form of lightening called 'Scribbling' or just 'Horizontal.' From what I can see in your picture, I'm thinking it's a picture of a power facility or highway roads? It's a tough one! :D
