Dr. John Lutz hosts www.canadianmysteries.ca on unix.uvic.ca, UVic's main web server. This server is located in the university's data centre in the Clearihue building on campus here. The electrical systems in the building are being upgraded tonight, which means shutting the power to the building--and data centre--down.

Hence no www.canadianmysteries.ca for a while.

According to the system messages, the work should be done, the power restored, and the server going again by 6pm tonight (Saturday) at the absolute latest, and probably sooner.
